Underground Miners
IMMEDIATE OPENING

GMS is looking for experienced Underground Miners that are willing to travel on a regular basis. We are currently working in various types of surface and underground mines across the United States and we're hoping to grow our special projects division with talented miners.
Responsibilities
All applicants that fit the minimum experience criteria will gain consideration.
Experience laying track, setting belt drives, or performing masonry work is very strongly preferred.
Prior experience welding, fabricating, or performing maintenance work will also gain very strong consideration.
Willingness to work in various types of mines consisting of coal, salt, zinc, gold, and other types of mines
Some projects will require staying out of town for consecutive weeks, depending on the overall length of the project.
Requirements
1-year underground mining experience
Must have either PA or WV Black Hat Certification
Must be willing to travel at least 75% of the time
A valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
Job Specifications
Pay Rate: Starting at $20/ per hour (Based on Experience)
Work Schedule: Rotation base/ location specific
